Once again The Rotary Club of Airlie Beach is delighted to invite your company to exhibit at the Whitsunday Boat & Leisure Show. This great regional Boat Show will again be held at the Abel Point Marina, on the Queen’s birthday long weekend, 11th & 12th June 2011. The 2009 show marked the 8th year for the Whitsunday Boat & Leisure Show. 2011 is shaping up to be another huge success for the sponsor, the Rotary Club of Airlie Beach and The Whitsundays, with firm bookings from the 2009 exhibitors. With fantastic weather on our side, the 2009 show attracted 7500 people from far north Queensland to Southern Capitals, all eager to enjoy the spectacle in Australia's quintessential boating and sailing waters. Amongst the visitors to the show there was a clear indication of real boat buyers in all brackets, above and below $1,000,000. Record sales of $6.6 million were recorded. We will continue our extensive TV, radio and print advertising campaign which again will increase the visitors to our Boat Show. Integral to the show display is the great food and wine, all weekend demonstrations, live music, model boat displays, fishing clinics, boat building competitions. Fabulous door prizes will be on offer. The last few years have seen an impressive static display of over one hundred big name fishing and pleasure cruiser rigs. Plus, on the Marina, a spectacular multi-million dollar boat display from Fusion, R Marine Whitsunday, R Marine Princess, Kevlacat, Delphia, Sunseeker and Lightwave, Vision, Fountaine Pajot, and Bavaria. Inside the Hoecker saw top brands such as Furuno, Navman, Globalstar, Gemini, Telstra, Cummins, Volvo Penta, just to name a few - and an even larger line up of exciting products and vessels is planned for this year. The static area was overflowing with exhibitors as far north as Cairns and south to the border. This year’s event falls a timely two weeks after Sanctuary Cove, providing a great opportunity for exhibitors to be able to include both Boat Shows in their exhibition calendar. Faced with an expected sell-out situation, many of this year’s exhibitors have already signed up - to save disappointment we urge you to book now. For more details on how to exhibit please call
