Once again The Rotary Club of Airlie Beach are delighted to invite your company to exhibit at the Whitsunday Boat & Lifestyle Show. The return of the show in 2011 will also see it move to a great new, larger location at the Port of Airlie marina at the Southern end of the Airlie Beach main street. The "later year" dates of 10-11 September also responds to feedback about prior years' date proximity to major Southern shows, while also taking advantage of the fantastic Spring weather. September is the peak season for the Whitsundays with tourists and locals enjoying warmer, clear sky days, perfect for aquatic adventure.

Every indication is that we will see the 2011 show attract more than the 6500 people from the previous peak year, while also bringing more people from far north Queensland and Southern Capitals all eager to enjoy the spectacle in Australia's quintessential boating and sailing waters. Amongst the visitors to the prior shows there was a clear indication of real boat buyers in all brackets, above and below $1000000. Peak sales of $6.6 million were recorded in years previous as the show draws on many markets including the lucrative nearby coal basin, Mackay and Townsville.

We will continue our extensive TV, radio and print advertising campaign which again will increase the visitors to our Boat Show. Integral to the show display is the great food and wine, all weekend demonstrations, live music, model boat displays, fishing clinics.

The last few years have seen an impressive static display of over sixty big name fishing and pleasure cruiser rigs. Plus, on the Marina, a spectacular multi-million dollar boat display from Fusion, R Marine Whitsunday, R Marine Princess, Kevlacat, Delphia, Sunseeker and Lightwave, Vision, Fountaine Pajot, and Bavaria. Inside the Hoecker saw top brands such as Furuno, Navman, Globalstar, Gemini, Telstra, Cummins, Volvo Penta, just to name a few - and an even larger line up of exciting products and vessels is planned for this year. The static area was overflowing with exhibitors as far north as Cairns and south to the border.
